Privacy

Private by design.

We built Beti for girls and families, so we hold their information the way we'd want ours held. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We never sell your data.

We respect the privacy and consent rules that apply where you live.
01

Who we are

Beti Health ("Beti," "we," "us") builds AI-guided care for adolescent and young women's cycle and gynecological health, delivered through the clinicians who already care for them. This policy covers our website and waitlist, which do not collect health information. Our app and clinical products carry their own privacy notices that address health data, consent, and your related choices. This policy does not govern how a clinic or provider handles your records under their own policies and legal obligations.

02

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve Beti:

  • Information you give us — such as your email when you join the waitlist or contact us, the practice details you provide when requesting pilot information, and the email you give when enquiring about the youth advisory board.
  • Health information you choose to share — cycle and symptom details are collected only in the Beti app, never on this website, and are governed by the app's own privacy notice. You control whether they are ever shared with your clinician.
  • Usage information — analytics about how our website and app are used, so we can make them better. On this website that is Google Analytics, which uses cookies; see Cookies & analytics below.
03

Cookies & analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising or social media tracking pixels.

  • Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and which forms they complete, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies in your browser and shares that usage data with Google, who acts as our analytics provider. It records things like the pages you view, your approximate region, your device and browser type, and how you found us.
  • What analytics never sees — Google Analytics runs only on this marketing website. It is not in the Beti app, and no cycle, symptom, or other health information is ever sent to it. When you submit a form we record that a submission happened; the details you typed, such as your email or practice name, are not sent to Google.
  • Keeping the site running — our host may set essential cookies needed to serve the site securely. These are not used to track you across other websites.

You can turn analytics off at any time by blocking cookies in your browser settings, installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, or using any tracker-blocking extension. Everything on this site works normally with analytics blocked.

04

How we use it

We use your information to operate Beti, respond to you, keep you posted if you've asked us to, and improve our products. We do not use your health information to advertise to you.

We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

05

Sharing your information

We share information only in limited ways:

  • With your clinician, at your direction. Health information reaches your care team only when you or your parent choose to share it.
  • With service providers who help us run Beti (for example, secure hosting), under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for us.
  • When required by law, or to protect someone's safety.

Where we work with clinical partners, we do so under Business Associate Agreements that govern the handling of health information.

06

Young people

Beti is built for adolescent and young women, and protecting their privacy is central to how we work. We handle personal information in line with the laws that apply where a person lives, including rules on the privacy of health information and the consent of minors.

  • Our website forms are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this website.
  • Sign-ups for our youth advisory board are open to people aged 13 and over.
  • If you believe a young person has given us information through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
07

How we protect it

We use safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging, and we keep information only as long as we need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the care health information deserves.

08

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. To make a request, email us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA.

09

Changes & contact

We may update this policy as Beti grows; we'll revise the date above when we do. Questions about your privacy? We'd genuinely like to hear from you.
